Friday | Day 1 | Bienvenue! : Welcome to France!


Arrival in Paris, check into the hotel. Group meets in the lobby in the afternoon and Journey Director introduces themselves. Let your journey begins! Meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a leisurely walking tour of Paris. Our guide will tell us about the history and culture of this fascinating European capital while discovering spellbinding neighborhoods.
Group welcome dinner with Parisian specialties.

Saturday | Day 2 | Parisian Flavors through Saint Germain des Prs


Today’s exploration features a culinary experience as we’ll visit one of the city’s most elegant district, Saint Germain des Près. Delight your senses while exploring this historic Parisian neighborhood with your Tour Director. You’ll sample exquisite pastries, chocolate, cured meats & cheeses in the best-kept foodie secrets of the Saint Germain des Près area!After this delicious experience, enjoy lunch and afternoon at leisure exploring Paris on your own.In the evening. enjoy views of Paris from a different perspective as you pass by the iconic sights on a relaxing Seine River private cruise. Complete the day with a group dinner before returning to your hotel.

Sunday | Day 3 | Giverny, Monet and Versailles


Today features a day trip outside of Paris. Get immersed in the peaceful countryside of Giverny and travel back in time while visiting a UNESCO World Heritage site, the palace of Versailles. After breakfast, we'll head towards Normandy to visit Giverny, the village of Painters. We will discover the famous Monet's House and Gardens, where the painter dedicated his passions such as painting, gardening and photography. Nowadays, the property is restored as a museum where the main Monet's canvases are exhibited and the gardens are recreated. Then, we will stroll through the town of Giverny and its charming country-house. After a group lunch and some free time, we will continue onto our next destination, Versailles. We will visit the magnificent Royal Palace of Versailles, discovering the impressive Chateau and its Gardens. We'll return to the hotel in the early evening for dinner and evening at your leisure.

Monday | Day 4 | The Secrets of Montmartre and the Louvre


Today we will enjoy a walking guided tour of one of the most charming neighborhoods of the city that was once home to a host of artists including Picasso, Modigliani and Toulouse-Lautrec. We will see the most iconic sights including the Moulin Rouge, the Rue Lepic, the Moulin de la Galette, the Montmartre Vineyard & the Sacre-Coeur, as well as heading off the beaten track to discover the hidden secrets of Montmartre.
After lunch at leisure, get ready for a fascinating visit to the Louvre, the world’s largest art museum. Although it's impossible to do the Louvre justice in just one day, on this tour you’ll admire all of the highlights, see the most iconic paintings and sculptures housed in two of this massive museum's three wings, including the Mona Lisa of Leonardo da Vinci. After the tour, enjoy some time at leisure either at the museum or in the city. The group will meet again for a dinner at a local restaurant near the hotel.

Tuesday | Day 5 | From the City to the Countryside


After checkout, we'll transfer to the Paris-Gare-de-Lyon train station.
Board your high-speed TGV train and departs Paris towards Avignon. Our driver will be waiting for us in Avignon,  to transfer us to the fairy-tale town of Uzes, near Avignon. Uzes will be your Provencal home for the next five nights. After check in, relax and enjoy some free time. In the late afternoon, we’ll gather again for a leisurely walk to explore the quaint town of Uzes with our Tour Director, followed by a  delicious group dinner with local specialties.

Wednesday | Day 6 | Pont du Gard & Châteauneuf-du-Pape


The discovery of Provence begins! We'll start the day with an adventurous guided walk on the famous Pont du Gard, and ingenious 2,000-year-old Roman aqueduct spanning the River Gardon.
We'll then continue on to the Rhône wine region. We will savor group lunch in a peaceful town along the way, and then head to the carpets of vineyards unfold around tiny, medieval Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the epicenter of one of the world's great wine-growing regions. Only a small ruin remains of the château, but we'll take it all in as well as enjoy a wine tasting at a nearby family owned vineyard. Group dinner back in  Uzes.

Thursday | Day 7 | Avignon and the Palais des Papes 


Today is all about Pompous Avignon!
After a leisurely breakfast, we will take a short drive to the enchanted Old Town of Avignon.
Get ready for a fascinating guided walking tour with our local City Guide through one of Europe's most beautiful medieval cities since the 14th century, when it was briefly the capital of Christendom, and home of the Papacy. Graceful Avignon's turn as the seat of papal power bestowed on the city a bounty of magnificent art and architecture, none grander than the massive medieval fortress and papal palace, Palais des Papes, where our expert City Guide will reveal the treasures and lifestyles of the pontiffs who reigned in Avignon for almost 70 years. After the tour, enjoy lunch on your own and free time to discover more of Avignon of your own. We'll return to the hotel in the early evening for a group dinner in Uzes.

Friday | Day 8 | Luberon Valley, Gordes and Roussilon


Today features an enthralling excursion in the heart of the rural Provence, the Luberon Valley. The drive alone offers some of the most stunning views of the countryside. We'll head to the tiered village of Gordes, rising like a giant wedding cake over the rivers Sorgue and Cavalon, jutting spectacularly out of the white rock face of the Vaucluse plateau. While we're here we'll enjoy our tasty group lunch.
We'll then continue on to one of the most impressive villages of the Luberon, the ochre-red Roussillon where you'll have free time to explore this historic old village.
We'll return to the hotel in the early evening for dinner at your leisure.

Saturday | Day 9 | The Essence of Provence


Today is Market Day in Uzes! Head to the central square of Uzes, Place-aux-Herbes, and get lost through the colorful array of stalls filled with fruits, vegetables, soaps, linen, pottery, and much more. Savour lunch on your own at one of the café in the main square, while admiring the best views of this Provencal market. In the afternoon, we’ll get together for a fun cooking a' la francaise! Get ready to get your hands dirty during a fun group cooking class with a local chef, learning to make traditional Provencal dishes, followed by a relaxed group dinner.

Sunday | Day 10 | Return to Paris


After check out, group gathers in the hotel lobby for transfer to the rail station in Avignon.
Board a TGV high-speed train to return to Paris. Our driver will be waiting for us at Paris train station for transfer to the hotel. Hotel check in followed by a leisurely afternoon or last-minute Parisian shopping, packing and dinner of your own.

Monday | Day 11 | Au revoir, France! See You Next Time!


After breakfast, the tour ends, and passionate travelers depart as friends. So, until next time, or à la prochaine! Merci, thank you for choosing Nada's Italy for your French adventure. What's Not Included in Tour Package

Trip price does not include airfare and anything that is not specified to be included. Price does not include any personal related expenses or travel-related expenses outside of the scheduled itineraries. The food & wine that is included is what is presented during meals.


Before you sign up, please note the following:


>     The first day of this tour is Friday (you will need to book your flight from the USA on Thursday to get to Paris on Friday). The last day of this tour is Monday (arrival in the U.S. is the same day of departure on your way back). Some tours start and end in different cities, make sure to book your flights accordingly.  


>     Airfare is not included. Nada's Italy can assist with Business and First Class airfare. Please let us know if you need information about arrival and departure airport for this tour.

>     Reminders, hotel information, and arrival instructions will be sent only by email, please make sure we have your current email address.

>     Transfers to and from the airport are not included in the tour rate. Please contact us if you'd like to add transfers to your tour package.

>     You must be in good physical condition to sign-up for this trip! There will be a lot of walking uphill, downhill, walking over uneven pavement, and standing for extended periods of time. An average walking tour is about 2-3 hours without sitting.

>     Even though tips to staff and restaurants are included, it is suggested that you put aside approximately $100 (US) in combined gratuities for your driver & Tour Director for your trip (and any voluntary additional restaurant gratuities are at your discretion).

>     Nada's Italy strongly recommends that you purchase Travel Insurance for your trip. For suggestions on policies and a quote, please contact us.

>     You should know that air conditioning in Italy, as well as WIFI connection, are not always as reliable as they are in the United States.

>     The hotel staff assigns rooms to guests, some rooms may include stairs. A view is not guaranteed. As Nada's Italy works mainly with luxury historic inns and small upscale boutique hotels, rooms differ in size and layout. In general, Italian bedrooms and bathrooms are smaller compared to US standards. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom with shower and/or tub, hair-dryer, and basic toiletry set. Please contact us if you have specific requests/needs.

>     It is your responsibility to obtain the required documents to travel to Italy, please verify with your own country's travel laws and government agencies. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

>     In the unlikely event your tour does not reach the minimum participation requirement of 6 travelers, we will work with you to choose another available tour or tour date. We will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible.
